Curriculum Vitae
Elise is looking for work as part of a research team for creative industries or urban policy. She would also like to hear about opportunities to work with arts community groups and public organisations, as well as any potential work experience or assistant roles with policy consultants.
Previous Experience:
Elise has experience in a variety of occupations. She is currently tutoring an undergraduate course at the University of Auckland, in the Department of Political Studies.
She has undertaken research assistant roles for senior lecturers in both the politics and economics departments.
She has experience in event management, organising a school camp-style music festival over the 2010-2011 new years period called Vibracamp.
She currently writes for an online publication called Design Assembly (see articles on the right navigation).
Elise also works as an assistant to Art Consultant Mary Vavasour.
Previous experience saw her develop skills in website design and content management (Allium Interiors, Design Store).
Roles in event management and retail management have left her with strong organisational abilities and a reliable and responsible work ethic.
She has a high level of computer literacy; speaks several languages including some proficiency at Te Reo; and has been said by her peers to be pleasant and enjoyable to work with.
